For its World Architecture Day celebrations, the National Building Museum will host Bauhaus-Fest, an all-day commemoration of the Bauhaus centennial, on October 6. The Bauhaus school was founded in 1919 by modernist master Walter Gropius in Germany, and its influence still resonates today.
