Docomomo DC General Meeting, Dec. 9th

Docomomo DC is pleased to invite members, friends, and all supporters of Modern architecture to our General Member Meeting on Tuesday, December 9th from 4:30–6:00 PM. The meeting will take place at the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library in the 401-G Conference Room.

This gathering is an opportunity to learn about our current work and the planning underway for our 2026 initiatives. Whether you’re already involved or newly interested in our mission, your participation helps strengthen our community and guide the future of our chapter.

We’re also excited to share the launch of our new web-based map of Modern buildings across the Washington, D.C. region. This interactive tool highlights significant Modern architecture and landscapes throughout D.C., Maryland, and Virginia, offering new ways to explore and engage with the region’s built heritage past and present. Docomomo DC remains dedicated to increasing public awareness, appreciation, and protection of Modern architecture, landscapes, neighborhoods, and sites across the DMV. We look forward to reconnecting with our members and welcoming new participants as we shape our chapter’s work for the year ahead.
