2018 Tour Day Planning Meeting, Aug. 15

Please join us for our third Tour Day Planning meeting, where we will review our route for Tour Day and divide into sub-committees. The annual nationwide Docomomo US Tour Day will take place October 13th this year. This year’s theme is Public Spaces – Inside and Out, and here in D.C., Tour Day will focus on Pennsylvania Avenue, Pershing Park, and Freedom Plaza.

Past Docomomo DC Tour Day events have included tours of Brutalist buildings in Northwest DC (2017), Modernist architecture of Montgomery County (2016), the Watergate complex (2015), and Southwest DC (2014).
