Book Launch: The Watergate, by Joseph Rodota


Writer Joseph Rodota celebrates the release of his latest work, The Watergate: Inside America’s Most Infamous Address (William Morrow), on February 20th, with two events to be held in Washington, D.C. Rodota is a former White House writer, and now leads Forward Observer, an opposition research consultancy. His book reveals surprising histories of the Watergate complex, including the role of the Vatican in its financing.

The first is a book launch at Politics & Prose at The Wharf, on February 20. Rodota will be on hand to present and sign copies of his book from 7-8pm. It's free, and open to the public. Details via Politics & Prose.

The second event will be held at the National Press Club on February 21. Guests at this event will be treated to a look into the Watergate's history, diving into the complex's complicated construction financing as well as inhabitants both intriguing and infamous. This is a ticketed event. Details via the National Press Club.

Rodota will also present a lecture at the National Building Museum, on March 26, that will reveal some of the complex's mysteries. This will be a ticketed event. Details are available via the National Building Museum.
