Last month, July 2025, Docomomo DC gathered for a special guided tour of the Kreeger Museum, a mid-century modern gem right here in Washington, DC. Designed in the 1960s by Philip Johnson and Richard Foster, the museum gave us a chance to see how clean geometry, natural light, and rich materials like travertine and teak come together in a space that feels both elegant and connected to nature.
